Today was a good day for Lily and her family at the NICU. Lily had her eyes open quite a bit, and didn’t seem as agitated as yesterday. Her mommy and daddy talked to her and sang to her. Lily’s room is very peaceful and even reverent with silent tears and prayers, and smiles and whispers.
Tonight, with Mommy and Daddy gone, and Grandma keeping vigil, it was especially reverent. Not allowed to whisper, sing, or touch, Grandma watched and prayed for angels to attend little Lily. And they do.
