Last week, Brian and I went to a ski resort for a two-night getaway. We stayed at a Swiss Inn with old-world charm. It was beautifully decorated, and we had a full balcony to ourselves. From our bedroom window we had a wonderful view of the mountain close to the resort. Half a block away was a chair lift to take us up the mountain where we enjoyed a spectacular view of the dam and a neighboring city. We also strolled on the trail that goes up the mountain. We didn't go far because it was late, but it was a lush and beautiful trail strewn with wild flowers.
After having a great time biking on Friday, we rode another tram up to the top of the mountain where we could watch people ride the zip line and where we could look down on another spectacular view.
Friday night we dined a the Inn restaurant where we enjoyed fondue, wiener schnitzel, and dessert. We had a wonderful time. We also watched some movies while we were there. It was so fun to be together. I love Brian so much!
