Aug 20--Dear Elder: End of this week's letter to Matt

Hi, Matt.  It’s Monday and time to send this letter off.  Yesterday we read your letter as a family and wrote to you in reply.  I hope you got that email.  Dad and I took cookies that Katrina made over to our new neighbors who are renting the Taggs house.  They have 3 boys and a girl, and it was nice to meet and talk to them.  We also had dinner as a family, and Renee, Becky and Donny came over for a nice visit.  Grandma seemed to enjoy eating and visiting with the family.

I talked to Jon this morning and he said he was able to get quite a few hours this week which is nice for him, but he says it will really slow down once school starts.  I hope not!

It sounds like you are doing well, and I’m really excited that 11 of your investigators attended church.  It is so nice to read about what is going on with you and the misunderstanding you had about the cake being too sweet is pretty funny.  I hope you had a chance to explain what you meant!  We keep praying that your package gets sent to you.   We also pray for your investigators and that you will find people who are searching for the truth.  Please tell us more about your investigators and how they are doing. I am so glad that you have a mission doctor and Hermana Cantu to help you with anything you need.  .  I love you, Matt.  Stay close to the Spirit, follow the mission rules, and pray always!

Love,
